some of you may remember...

when i started snapcity in december of 1995, i focused mostly on "historic" places in s.f. (tosca, musee mechanique, park bowl to name a few). then two episodes ago i showed how many of these places have changed or no longer exist and moaned about how most folks can't afford to live here anymore. well i've been doing some thinking and realize that i don't want to just sit here and feel jaded about how our city has changed... that if i choose to stay, i should do my part to help make it a san francisco that i love. so this episode you get some shots of people fighting to make san francisco a more livable city again. these images are from a community action forum on housing organized by the san francisco organizing project and PICO california.
